Tiny Football Car

What started as a reactive idea turned into a breakout star of EURO 2020. In June 2021, I launched and ran the @TinyFootballCar accounts on Twitter and TikTok for tournament sponsor Volkswagen, giving voice and attitude to the tiny remote-controlled car that delivered match balls onto the pitch.

Over the course of the tournament, the Tiny Football Car became a viral fan favourite, sparking memes, headlines, and global affection. What began as a quick side activation grew into one of the tournament’s most unexpected and most talked-about moments... and one of my many alteregos.
