Lend Your Voice

As part of a pro bono initiative I co-led with Daisy Thurston-Gent, we partnered with Rainbow Migration to raise awareness of the often-overlooked and deeply inhumane treatment of LGBTQI+ asylum seekers in UK detention centres.

We created ‘Lend Your Voice’ - a social campaign that gave voice to those who have been silenced. Over the course of 28 days, we released 28 short films, each featuring a different LGBTQI+ celebrity or influencer reading a real quote and experience from someone in detention. The contributors - including names from across film, music, and activism - read the quotes aloud on camera for the first time, capturing raw, unfiltered emotion in support of Rainbow Migration’s mission to end indefinite detention.

The campaign shone a light on a critical but underrepresented issue - and did so entirely on a zero budget, relying on passion, collaboration, and purpose. It remains one of the projects I’m most proud of.
